Hotel Grotta Azzurra is the original, historical hotel of the Bianconi family, which, since 1850 has uninterruptedly accommodated fans of Norcia right in the historical center, just a few steps away from Piazza S. Benedetto, the central square, on a turning off Corso Sertorio.
The hotel is housed in an 18th-century palazzo. The rooms are all different in terms of size and settings. Some overlook the characteristic roofs of the historical centre thanks to little balconies; others have a view of the Sibylline Mountains.
The room categories offered by Hotel Grotta Azzurra are: Basic, Standard and Deluxe. The main difference refers to floor area, both of the rooms and bathrooms, and in part to furnishings.
About 383 yards away from the Hotel Grotta Azzurra, just outside the walls of Norcia, at the Best Western Hotel Salicone, all guests can make use free of charge, with the access pass issued by the hotel’s Reception, of the extremely well equipped Bianconi Sporting Center.
